Nita Jo and student taking a break

"Nita Jo was a wonderful clinician, as always. She did a terrific job of helping everyone – even though there was a wide range of skill levels. NJ also leaves everyone with a “can do” attitude. That quality surely added new members to the Nita Jo Rush fan club! :-)"

"I attended 3 mini-clinics at Nita Jo's Place this summer. Her ranch is beautiful with a large outdoor riding arena that more than accommodates the class size she books during the mini-clinics. She is about 20 minutes North of St. Cloud so it makes it a convenient drive to lodging and restaurants or, if you are able to snatch it in time, she has an apartment you can rent during your stay. She has both outdoor and indoor accommodations for our horse friends which makes the outdoors a nice option during good weather.

I really enjoyed the smaller class size, which allowed more one on one time with Nita Jo. I also like the pace of the clinic and the comfortable atmosphere. She was able to keep an eye on each of us and help work with us based on where we were at in our levels."

"Dear Nita  Jo, I just wanted to thank you for the fantastic learning experience this past weekend during the Level 1 Clinic.you gave. Your talent is awesome, your teaching techniques were clear and easily understood, and you are one great showman as well! Thanks for the individual attention and positive feedback and encouragement to all of us. My daughter and I were inspired, and our feelings about the Parelli Methods being the route we want to take were reinforced tenfold. "

With gratitude,

"I don't really know how to put into words how valuable this clinic was for me. I have been riding horses for 40 years; but I learned a lot about how I handled my horses. I also learned a lot about myself."  Lisa W. 4/04

"Hey! Has anybody told you today what an amazing teacher you are? Well,
you are!!...

...I learned so much watching you work calmly and efficiently with the
other horses and humans. How you kept track of us all and gave so much
energy and personalized attention is beyond me. The 7 Games really work,
but it takes a whole different level of mastery to do so much in such a
short time with such a mix of people and horses - all while making it
great fun. And watching you in relationship with your beautiful mare
Sadie gave me something more to aspire to.

Thanks again, Nita Jo. You're the best!"

"Of all the instructors we have had out here in New England I have to tell you that your outward warmth and true caring for the horse, but mostly for the student, far exceeds any I have seen so far. I learn from people like you, Nita Jo. I feel very comfortable with you no matter how silly I might look during a lesson or clinic. Being comfortable and knowing that you really want me to 'get it' means a lot."

"Nita Jo is very easy to listen to.  She's extremely patient!  I really enjoyed seeing the relaxed way she gets the horse to listen to her, too!"

"Thank you for a very enjoyable, non-stressful clinic. I get very nervous at clinics being pretty new to this
riding stuff. But after the first few minutes I felt very relaxed because Nita Jo made me feel relaxed!"

"I was amazed at how many ways [Nita Jo] would have us try certain tasks.  If one way wasn't working she always had another idea, until one would make us succeed." --Carmen W.

"Nita Jo is a natural at teaching. She gets down to business and presents information in a way that is easy to understand and, even better, retain! I've had 5 Parelli instructors and Nita Jo has the best presentation. Very professional, and able to present techniques in an effective way!"
