Does Nita Jo offer private lessons?
How many people constitute a *small group*?
A small group consists of from 2-5 people. You can request to be put into a small group if you are flexible with your date options. Or, you can put your own small group together and schedule with Nita Jo that way.
How much does a private lesson or small group lesson cost?:
1 person = $150/hour ($100/hour if you come to Nita Jo's place in Bowlus, MN)
2 people = $ 75 each per hour
3 people = $120 each per minimum 2-hour lesson
($60 each per hour, 2-hour minimum)
4-5 people = $150 each per minimum 3-hour lesson
($50 each per hour, 3-hour minimum)
How much does participating in a CLINIC or WORKSHOP cost?
Participating in a clinic or workshop at Nita Jo's Place in Bowlus, MN costs each participant $220/day. For example, if you are participating in a 2-day clinic, your clinic fee would be $440. If you were participating in a 4-day clinic the fee would be $880.
Additional expenses might include:
Outdoor pen: $10/night
Indoor stall: $20/night
Barn Apartment: $50/night (1 person)
$60/night (2 people)
(Only 2 people allowed to share the Barn Apartment)
Nita Jo's Trailer: $35/night (1 person only)
Camping: $10/night (no electric)
Electric Hookup: $15/night
Clinic and Workshop prices *Away* from Nita Jo's Place will vary, but will fall in a similar price range depending on travel expense, facility fees, etc.
Auditing:
Nita Jo allows spectators at clinics and workshops. Auditors participate in the clinic without horses, and are often included in simulations, saddle fit demos, and can ask as many questions as they can think up!
Auditors can purchase auditor tickets from clinic particpants directly -- this helps the participants defray the cost of their clinic! Contact njrassistant@pnhsavvy.comd for information on how to purchase directly from clinic participants.
